Thank Goodness, I can finally post

Okay, its been one hell of a last week, weekend.

For those who don’t know, my computer went down last week due to a virus through an email.  My computer is still in repair and hopefully it will be back on my desk on Tuesday, at the latest Friday this week.

Sometime late last week, or early in the weekend, there were some images posted in comments on this blog.  These images showed private information that I did have, but did not post because of the nature of those images.  I didn’t have time to go through those images and edit them out before my computer was attacked with the virus that shut it down.  I don’t want anyone to think that I don’t care about that issue and that was why it wasn’t posted, just things happened out of my control, and I wasn’t able to.

I want to touch base a bit on the images.

I agree and disagree with what I seen for many reasons.  I am going to start with the reasons I do agree.

First, owners have to figure out a way to protect their sites.  It is a known fact that fraudsters will run from one site to the next signing up with fake information.  Because I have been on the side of a site owner, I do know that sometimes the only way to catch these people is to hope they make one mistake that is a match to another owner.  Some people can be so sneaky that there isn’t many ways of finding them other than asking another site owner.

The downside to owners who come into a private forum with other owners and place this kind of information, leads me straight back to many of the thoughts I have on why dealbarbie sold her network.  These are only my thoughts, and I don’t ask anyone to agree with me.  Thing is, when this amount of information on a user is place on a private forum, you never really know which owner in that forum is on the backside stealing this information for their own intentions through their sites.  It may not be the intention of the original poster to give this information away for that purpose, but I do believe that it is happening behind the scenes with many site owners.  This is the one reason why I feel that owners need to be more careful about what they are posting even in private forums.  This is the internet, and there are bad people everywhere, thing is, we will never know who all those are.

I am going to open this up for comments, but will ask that everyone please respect the fact that I do not want information posted in comments that is breaking any rules of privacy.  My motto is, if you wouldn’t post it about yourself, then don’t post it about others.

There is much more that needs to be discussed here, and it will, right now, I need to get my computer back and go through my files to make sure nothing is missing.  I appreciate you patience, and I appreciate those of you who did everything to get me notified of the images..

I think this is one of the biggest problems with PTSU sites!

Owners who think they know everything and threaten to out people on public forums because they think that people will listen to their bull shit.

I also want to say that I have not in the last several days spoken with anyone with gpt sites, not owners nor members, through AIM!  (other than just now trying to catch up with IM’s I got while off line)

If anyone is having a problem with being bullied by an owner..Please send me the information and allow me to show what is going on!  It is pure bullshit, and I don’t agree with it whatsoever!

I  apologize for the lack of post for the past several days, I have been extremely busy taking care of a few things on the home front!

I am working on a couple of new post now, and hopefully will be done by Friday evening!

Question for site owners..

If any member or owner purchases ads to be placed on your sites, and you decide for whatever reason to delete those adds, do you keep the money or refund the money on the adds?  If you ban a member for whatever reason, do you also delete those adds without refunding any of the money?

Duplicate accounts?

I made a post last year concerning what I thought was dealbarbie allowing duplicate accounts her on site.  My opinion of that has not swayed from this time last year.

This was a time when I was watching 2 blogs.  Things have changed a bit from those blogs, but even when you go through them, you will still see where my concerns are.

Looking through both of these blogs, it is very easily determined that these checks, and these banners are not copied.

My point:

If you read back through the discussion on gptboycott, you will see that even trulyfair recognized the checks and listed them on the thread.  Much of this has been changed, but some has not.  Dealbarbie did come into the thread and explain that these are not the same people and that she had checked them out and in fact their information checked out.  Also, note that another person did give a half ass explanation of exactly how it could work.

Now, just for the sake of the fact that I could be very wrong, I did contact 4 site owners today, and was told the exact same thing from each of them.  There is no way that these banners could have been copied if they are running in real time, and if you refresh, as one’s amount goes up so does the other.

To start with, the dealbarbie banner matched the very same one on the other blogs, but after it was brought up in boycott, the banner was changed.  I did not screencap this, so I’ll let you decide on your own.

Go through those 3 blogs and pay close attention to the checks.

While you are doing that, notice that the paypal numbers have been blacked out.  Going back to truly fair’s post on gptboycott, you will notice that at the time they were not blacked out.  Now tell me, other than pulling this straight from a photobucket account, what person in their right mind would take the time to wipe out the paypal numbers?  My theory is that these blogs belong to one person!

I am not asking anyone to come to the same conclusion as I, and if anyone can prove to me that these banners can be copied and pasted to match exactly in real time, I beg of you to show me!

I am being shown how these banners are possible to copy..

But, it still doesn’t really explain the checks and how they appear to be the same.  I’ll sit on this one for a while and discuss it with a few other people who can help explain it to me better.

I know, I know..I am suppose to be taking the day off!

Well, most of what I was trying to get done today, did get done!

I’ve gotten a few emails today and just thought I would ask a question to all my readers…Well, those readers who are “only members” of PTSU sites.

Question is:

If you were to find out something about an owner, or you have concerns about the way a site is being run, how contests are being run, or even if you think that an owner is a bit shady, what do you do?  Do you go to the owner with the information first, or do you ask the questions in a public setting?

Example:

What if you as a member have caught an owner winning their own referral contest with the top prize of $50.  The stats show that the owner is winning, but the next day when you log in, the same amount of referrals are there for the top prize but the sign in name is totally different.

Would you contact the owner first?  Or would you screen cap what you seen and ask the questions in public?

I know what site owners would say, they would want you to come to them.  I am looking for members opinion.

Taking a day off

I wanted to let you all know that I will be taking Thursday off from the blog.  There are many things I need to get done to help get ready for school to start back and also I have been asked to create a website for my daughter’s volleyball team.

Please feel free to continue leaving comments, and please make sure to read the last two posts.  I am truly humbled today at the actions of these 4 ladies and do believe they all deserve to be looked at through a different set of eyes, eyes from 2009 and not 2007..

Barbara and Tiffany

After speaking with both of these ladies today privately, and after reading through their comments, I do think that most of this between them was a misunderstanding.

Before the crackdown on members duplicating offers,  Tiffany did what everone else was doing.  From what I am hearing she only had one account on Barbara’s site.  Her mother also held an account and so did her boyfriend.  Offers were only done on Tiffany and her mothers account, but Tiffany only did her own offers, and her mother did her own miles and miles away.  The mix up may have been in the address that Tiffany used on the offers.  She did at times use her mother’s mailing address because she has a PO Box.  Barbara said to me today that she can see where the offers would have been reversed given that was what was going on.  Barbara also said that looking at it from that direction,  she would not have called Tiffany a fraudulent owner.  Barbara also said that Tiffany was a good owner, and she was paid by her except the one time that she did not request the payment, and possibly her site shut down right after that.  Barbara has been the only owner to admit that the rules were very much different back during that time.

In Barbara’s defense, yes some of the things that Tiffany was telling me, she was telling Barbara something different.  I do understand why Barbara was frustrated with that and until I could get to the truth, I left it alone.  The lesson to be learned is that everyone should feel open to speak about the truth and not worry about the repercussions of the truth.

Now, this is my personal opinion only about these two women, one whom is still a site owner and one who is long gone from ownership.

Tiffany was bashed in Wahm forum for being a fraudulent owner, I do think that if they both would have communicated with one another at the time, that her name would have never came up as a fraudulent owner or member.  Mistakes do happen.  During this time, the rules were not the same as they are now.  And because the rules are not the same as they are now, I personally feel that every single member and owner who were labeled a fraud back then should be given a second chance not only at membership but at ownership if they choose.

I am going to apologize to Barbara on this situation with Tiffany.  My thought was that she allowed this girl to repeat offers.  I think today I have learned exactly what I thought to begin with.  It was allowed, but allowed during a time when it was very normal, and way before the advertisers cracked down on the rules.  Barbara could not help the change of the rules, and Tiffany should never have been called a fraudulent owner.

I hope these two ladies can put the past behind them and give each other another chance.

A new day

Today, I was approached by Eleisha of  the old site, awholelotofgreen, and Myssi from the chat posted in this blog.

I am going to first post this email from Myssi, then I am going to talk a little about it.

I want to thank you for posting your blog because if anything good came of it, it gave me the chance to approach or shall I say courage to approach Eliesha and apologize to her for that chat, the reason for doing that is because no matter what has happened between her and I the chat was a stupid thing to do, the bashing of her was uncalled for and I sincerely meant my apology I had posted on your blog and I felt the only true way to show I meant is to actually apologize to her myself, something I had failed to do and was wrong about waiting so long.

I want to thank you for taking the time to come into chat with Eliesha and I and for listening to us both. Hopefully now that Eliesha and I have moved on and apologies have been accepted and things are working out towards the better, your readers will see that my apology was heartfelt and sincere.

I just erased over three very long paragraphs to this email because I started to touch upon past accusations and then more I thought about it I did not want this email to be about that. The past is the past I don’t want to turn an email about apology into trying to clear my name.

I think back to the chat we all had and I know it was wrong, even though it was meant to stay private still, the things I alone said (I will not speak for other people here) were wrong even in an angry state they were wrong. It goes to show that even in anger and even in private your words can hurt someone even if you believe them to 100% wrong at the time it’s no excuse to handle it the way I did. For that I am truly sorry and even though Eliesha has accepted that apology I can’t help but think if my words don’t haunt her at times and hurt her, this is not the type of person I am nor is it the type of person I want to be remembered as but I have made my own bed and will have to come with terms with that someday.  It’s hard enough knowing the words and things you have said could have hurt someone on an emotional level that could affect their day to day thinking or the way they view themselves or how they feel about themselves.  That was never my intentions and I am just sorry it took almost two years to handle something that should have been handled a long time ago.

Eliesha, I know you have forgiven me for the chat, but I am hoping that this is some small consolation that this email helps in any possible way after the way you were made to feel when that chat become public.

Now, before you think to yourself this is a matter of pity, I want to explain how this came about to me. Eleisha invited me  into a chat with she and Myssi.  It was apparent during our chat, that the two of them had spoken privately and come to me together.

I dare not ask anyone else who reads here to forgive myssi for her part in the chat,  I myself forgive her.  Too,  2 years have gone by and it does appear that she is a changed person.  Although I cannot apologize for the things I said about the chat itself and what took place, I can and am apologizing for accusing the women in that chat of being the same person today.  After speaking with her today, I feel I have been wrong about her since I started this blog and I owe her that apology.  Myssi, I truly am sorry for keeping you characterized as the same person who was in that chat 2 years ago.  I do know that much time as passed and you really could be a totally different person as a result of what went on back then.  I commend you for apologizing to Eleisha for the things you said in the chat.  And like I told you, it was not my intention to make anyone apologize, it was my intention to only get information out to those who work with gpt.   If nothing good at all comes out of this blog, your heart felt apology was worth my time.

Eleisha,  I don’t even know where to begin with you.  You have single handed made me rethink about where I am going with this blog.  I don’t know of many people who could take that amount of criticism, that amount of what I would call public torture, and still put the concern of someone else above your own.  The more I think about the favor you asked of me and the reasons for it, the more I realize that you are the exact person you made yourself  out to be at gptboycott.   It takes a bigger person to not only realize what they did was wrong, but to come to you after all this time and apologize.  I do feel she really is sorry for the things she said, and I am proud that she came to you with an apology.  I am even prouder that you excepted her apology.

I do appreciate our little chat alone a bit after the chat with Myssi,  and I will take to heart everything you said about forgiveness.  I do believe you suffered a great deal and through that you have shown to me the concern of these ladies who talked so horribly about you.  I agree that because these ladies have children such as yourself, that before I post anything I should put myself in their shoes.

Now,  I did contemplate removing this blog all together, but for now I have chosen to leave it while I work on a few more things.  I believe in the message I have tried to get out there, and I am going to continue to post, yet will think about things a little closer before I press the publish button.

The post on the video

I am going to go ahead and apologize here to any site owner who has problems with people trying to create proxies and running rampant fraud through your sites.  I did not post the link I have to the video because of concern for all of you.

I’ll make one correction to my post below.  Yes, I can see where this video may have been made to prevent fraud.  Those links posted in my comments section was not my source of information.  Matter of fact, I found the video’s in a public photobucket account which I still will not post out of respect for the other site owners who are serious about keeping the crap out of their sites.  In all honesty it disturbs me worse that these videos were left in an open photobucket for the public to see.  From what I could tell at the time 8 people had already viewed it.  There is no telling how many times it has been added to those 8 people’s own photobucket accounts, how many times it has been shared from theirs etc…etc…etc..  The smarter thing to have done was make that photobucket account private.  It wasn’t done and dare to only imagine how long it has been there.

Even with that correction made, it is still my opinion that some of the people in this chat were using this,  and after the circumstances surrounding the selling of the dealbarbie network and the things that Maddox and I discussed, and other information that I have received and asked not to post, my opinion will not be changing, unless someone can prove to me it is otherwise.

If I recall correctly I did say this in relation to the other site owners in the chat:

Yes, I am working with another site owner on the information on my blog.  I have not posted either her conversation or the other person involved.  At this point, both of them have contradicted each other either through forums or their own words to me.  I have chosen to wait that one out for more information to come in.  I have also offered to make full public apologies if it is proven to me that my suspicions are wrong.  Too, at this point, neither of these people have given their permission to post anything they have said, and until they do so, I will not post it.  Myssi?  Can I share your private conversation with me?  I asked you that question too, and what was I told?  You didn’t agree for me to post your conversation with me.  It is the same situation.

Out of all these people, Sparkle is the absolute only site owner involved in the chat whom has been supported 100%  Her tags, her name has been removed.  Supporters help in this situation, and it is something each one of these site owners are aware of.

Quit throwing that word Liable out so loosely.  I posted exactly what I found.  And I give my opinion on it.  Thank you though, least I can be of 100% certainty now that YOU did make that video.. I could only begin to think of the number of members who never seen their reversal reports, and some would have really liked that proof.

Sorting through the element of shock!!!

I am going to start this post by showing the above screencap.  I do not know who this person is or what affiiation this person has with anyone in the industry.  I have spoken with Maddox and am pretty sure it is the same person, (although I can’t say with 100% certainty), I cannot post our conversation because I do not have permission, however will say that nothing really changed from when he/she posted on boycott.  I personally don’t ever think we will hear the real truth about why dealbarbie sold, but I wanted to touch base a bit with the content of that post, especially the part that reads : “caught her cheating by creating multiple accounts herself”  Maddox mentioned a couple of things to me and after going back through emails from 2008 and some of the content of those emails, I decide to start researching another aspect of all of this that didn’t ring a bell until now.

First thing to figure out is exactly why site owners who duplicated offers on each of these owners (from the chat) sites,  were allowed into the fraud forum as members when people like Kelsey’s Mom were not allowed.  I have my own opinion now as to why that happened back then, and I think you all know what it is.  I have never denied the opinion I have about these site owners allowing duplicate accounts, and allowing members to repeat offers.  I NEVER THOUGHT THEY WERE DOING THEM THEMSELVES!  Until now!  Maddox said a couple of things that reminded me about a few emails I had gotten about a site owner creating a video showing how people use hidemyass to sign up for sites using their own referral links.  My understanding at the time was this was a guide for site owners to use to catch people creating multiple accounts.

Yes, today I have seen this video.  I cannot and will not post the link to this video because I don’t think  it helps the industry at all!  I did take screencaps an will explain a bit about what I saw, and what I was hearing.

Sounds exactly what Maddox says Barbie was busted for right?  Well it gets better:

My understanding from Maddox is that Eleisha from awholelotofgreen made this video.  I have heard so many stories, that anymore I didn’t know what to believe………well ……….until today!

Because I have never seen this site before, I had to ask for the help of another site owner to confirm that this is in fact Awholelotofgreen.  Basically this video was showing exactly how someone would sign up for a site using hidemyass.  More:

For people like myself who are completely ignorant where proxies are concerned, I can tell you that this video taught me a ton!  Not only about how proxies are used, but who actually made this video.

I have lived in florida my whole life, and you can say that I have what is known as a southern draw…Well, I can tell you that the person who narrated this video does not have a southern draw, it is more like a northern draw.  I could be very wrong but given that the address placed in the 5th screencap listed above which matches the address on the reversal report listed in another post here on this blog, I am going to take a chance and say that I am almost 99% sure this is actually Myssi who created this video, and because this is listed from a member’s standpoint, I am going to go ahead and make the assumption that the owner of awholelotofgreen was falsely accused of making  video teaching her members to cheat.  From the looks of the stats of the site, and the time I am being told she was in operation before this video came out, it doesn’t appear that any members were making hundreds or even thousands of dollars by being allowed to cheat.  Of course, that is only my opinion!  It is also my opinion that because maddox seems to know so much about dealbarbie and how the system works and seems to know things from sources who are close to this, I wouldn’t doubt in my mind that this was the way these people brought this girl down. It is my opinion that barbie possibly sent this video to affiliates claiming that awholelotofgreen was teaching her members this crap!  From the chat alone, I have made that judgment on these few people.  Even Maddox agreed that those who are in well with the affiliates have more pull than anyone really knows..

If this video was posted inside the fraud forum, dealbarbie and many other site owners were taught exactly how to use hidemyass.  Even for the person like me who didn’t understand proxies, it is easily learned from this video.

If this is in fact what barbie did and the way she did it, then now I finally understand exactly why she has been defended by myssi all along.  Too, with the reversal report being shown here in this blog and not the first site owner emailing me to tell me it even remotely looks fake, well..just judge for yourself.

Myssi was caught using proxies, and even made a video confirming she knows exactly how to do it.

At this point, Myssi, Seraph, nor deal barbie have any credit where I am concerned.  You can send proof of your very own birth certificates and I would swear they are fakes.
